• Luca is collecting requests for early request to send to summit, so they are informed well in advance

  • We discussed and Luca has notes for release requests through Dec 31

• Jim: Summit does standby instrument first because they select the instrument to do checkout and doing active instrument last means one less change. Also (per Carolyn) OAs saw problems if active was not the last checked out.

• Request for GBS from NASA on Dec 24 is for NIRC2: first half PyWFS, second half SH. Is PyWFS available?

• Instructions used to be do not record time lost before 12 deg. Also instruct OAs to record all ticket time even if masked by other factors (e.g. bad weather).

• Confusion amongst OAs.

• New instructions: Record all time working on a problem using start and end time. Let metrics sort out masking.

• Carolyn asks that we do the same and let metrics handle time tracking.
