KPF will be in the midst of a servicing mission and will be completely shut down. The KPF Servicing Mission team will handle all power up and power down of the instrument. Power recovery will likely be deferred to Nov 7 or later after most/all other parts of the facility have been recovered.
A Jackery power battery will be installed to power on the KPF etalon source. This portable power station can work while connected to the power line and continue providing power after the disconnect. This will be done on Monday Nov 4.
