Introduction
The agitator consists of a motor with a rotating reel that taps against hanging loops of fiber. This continually changes the paths of the light rays through the fibers, thereby smoothing/homogenizing the output illumination of the fibers.
The motor is controlled by a Galil DMC-30012 controller.
Two temperature sensors are also connected to the Galil controller - one to measure the temperature of the motor, and one to measure the air temperature within the crypt.

Note that the Agitator temperature sensors are reporting values that are about 2x the actual temperature. We have not determined the cause of this yet.
