Pajamas mode considerations for discussion
PJ mode is here to stay, get used to it and let's come up with a plan to make it better (This is mostly Josh + software group + suggestions). In the short term, look for simple ways to simplify the process (i.e. reduce number of VNCs?)
Track your effort. Maybe we can ask HR to give us a specific effort code. Or we can collectively decide to use pre/post observing to specifically deal with observers setup
Work with management to find ways to distribute the load, without making any assumptions that other groups have free energy. No group has free energy to spend, but all the more reason to share the load instead of bearing it all on ourselves. One possible idea: use the swoc mechanism? It is a rotation system and it is compensated by the observatory at the same level as our night support
Diversity angle: these kind of considerations are long overdue
