No additional power cycling capabilities needed.

Power Outage Procedure

• Shut down instrument software in preparation for powering things off

  • Run CSUSTOP

    • modify -s mcsus stopcsu=1

  • Ensure detector is put to bed gently

    • modify -s mds abort=1

    • modify -s mds powerdown=1

    • mosfire stop mds

• Go to low power mode by turning off components in the electronics cabinet

  • Power down these components (e.g. using the Power Control GUI):

    • CSU Controller

    • CSU Drives

    • Jade 2

    • Computer

    • Ne lamp

    • Ar lamp

    • Guider focus galil (these prevent frost on guider, so probably need to leave these on?)

    • Guider camera electronics (these prevent frost on guider, so probably need to leave these on?)

    • Motor box

    • FCS controller

  • This leaves telemetry active (needs mosfireserver and vm-mosfire)

    • Could shut down Kaimana if desperate
