Percy may not be able to make this, but gave some thoughts: Risk of troubles while booting a system will delay the power on of Lakeshores or other temperature controllers While normally robust to comms issues, perhaps a Lakeshore comes up incorrectly Would greatly prefer to have a UPS Is there a specific order to bring servers up for each instrument? Does booting a server also bring up the software automatically?
Current ATS (switches between HELCO and generator) has been deemed end of life and needs to be replaced All power will be off, generator and HELCO Estimated to take 1-2 hours CCRs will be off. Guideline is for instruments to be able to handle 1 hour of CCR off for reconfig Instrument UPSs will still be active, but will not last for the full 1-2 hours unless we shut off some of the draw. Next SA meeting: have draft for each instrument Meet next week?
