Battery need

• Prefer to keep both spectrograph and imager Lakeshore powered up with UPSs

Procedure Before power down

• On Nov 4: Sherry run osirisStartWarmup to
  set both detector target temperatures to 80K
  lock all the mechanisms
  start temperature and pressure logging
  keep detectors powered on by
  oids.powerdown=0 and osds.powerdown=0

• On Nov 6, by 8:30 am: Sherry power off spec and imag detectors by oids.powerdown=1 and osds.powerdown=1, then run osirisDisconnect

• On Nov 6, IT turn off:
  osiris-drp
  vm-osiris
  osirisimag
  osirisspec
  osiris-control2
  osiris-control1
  osirisserver

• On Nov 6, summit turn off CCR right before 9:30

Procedure during the power down

None

Procedure to bring back the system

• Summit turn on CCR

• IT Bring up:
  osirisserver
  osirisspec
  osirisimag
  vm-osiris
  osiris-drp
  
  

• If the computers are up:

  • Sherry will run osirisConnect which will power on the lakeshores and instrument
    osiris-control1
    osiris-control2
    will be connected after osirisConnect is complete.

  • Sherry will run osirisStartCooldown to set spec and imag detector target temperature to 72K and 70K

  • Sherry checks if the heaters for spec and imag detectors are up and running and keep both detectors at target temperature . It will likely take more work to bring up the spec detector heater, see Kd1-32369
