• Thanks to everyone for pitching in with the loss of Gloria.

  • Training videos will be posted to the confluence page.

  • HR is planning to hire 3 new administrative assistants with one specifically to replace some of Gloria’s functions.

• Randy is having regular meetings with Andrew for a sys-admin ticket system to help with computer support

• NAs are back in observing support with John Pelletier as the supervisor. We should have a full slate of NAs soon.

• Looking for a volunteer to help recruit/coordinate lunch science talks.

• February internal strategic meeting for sampling staff across the observatory moved to April.

PIG Status

Want feedback on the PIG for the different instruments.

Carlos: DEIMOS – no issues. NIRC2 had some issues with split nights, but seems to be working fine. More testing tonight.

Jeff/Josh: Known issues with ESI.

Jim: ESI will light up yellow to indicate a conflict with observer name, and commit anything else will change observer name.

Greg: NIRSPEC working with special subdirectories. No KCWI PIG, not necessary right now.

Randy/Jim: We could make OSIRIS work if we wanted, but it would need other changes. PIG could just change PROGNAME.
