Other Procedures

Various notes sent to summit staff from the KPF team regarding adjustments or changes.

Most of these were one-time procedures, and will not need to be repeated. However,

they are collected here for reference.

Description	Procedure	Notes
Archon XVBias Board Removal		Performed on the Green Archon after XVBoard started failing. The XVBias board is only needed for the thicker (100um) STA devices; since both KPF CCDs are 30um-thick it can be removed. Note the Red Archon also has this board installed but it has not been removed as of June 2023.
Backup Computer Network Connections		Instructions on how to connect the KPF backup computer to the WMKO ops network.
Archon Grounding Strap Installation		The Archons were showing some fixed-pattern noise. This occurred at SSL and was fixed with better grounding of the Archons. These instructions show how to better ground the Archons to the vacuum chamber.

Etalon Computer Re-Install		Connections for the etalon computer to be re-installed after it was at headquarters for the WMKO OS install.
LFC Computer Network Change		The LFC was originally on the ops network; these instructions explained how to move it to the KPF Private Network. This change was made and it is now on the KPF Private Network.
“Motor Off” Jumper Install for Optical Bench Isolator Motor Galil		This jumper prevents the motors from turning on inadvertently when the Galil is powered on. This has been completed.
