There might be a new proclamation from the Governor, with an increased number of business that are allowed to go back to work. Observatories might be included
John’s recommendation might be to be cautious and slow in restarting operations, staggered K1 and K2 approach in getting things back, initially drawing on engineering recommendations
Might need info on what support is needed for K1 laser
Governor’s conference is happening as we speak. We might receive further info later
Randy Campbell We might need a process for this ramp-up: day crew, night crew, night ops, scheduling
We are putting together the SOC for the KSM in September, if you are interested please let John know

This process is going to be a lot of work and require significant attention, after focusing so much on what we can do during the shutdown.
Challenge will be keeping the OAs/Daycrew/management/engineers/committees in the loop. Communication will be vital
John O'Meara recommends to politely remind him (John) to keep communication going, especially with committees

MS Teams
Luca
Software group is looking in to MS Teams. SAs are not involved however. Jeff raised at SW meeting with Kevin.
SAs should be involved and keep an open mind. Could be a parallel tool with Confluence, could abandon confluence.
Kevin McCann is leading pilot project. Heavily directed at engineers (aka Peter’s group)
Is there a project associated with this? Perhaps our rep should be someone be involved in that project.
Marc’s name was mentioned as part of this, but he was not aware of it.
Possible that MS Teams is linked to Office 365 email upgrade? Not clear.
Now a total of 5 spaces (DSIs, SSCG, SW, SAs, TeamKeck).
Randy: adequate for purpose.
Josh: killer app is the shared editing of documents
Carlos: only used for idea collection, reluctant to put a lot of effort in due to learning curve
Sherry: I like the meeting notes we keep on Confluence. it is easy to read and especially easy to keep track of the todo list. this is much easier than using emails for example.
Elena: likes confluence, especially for the meetings, easy to use
Jim: we don’t have much to compare with: our use of confluence is rather limited still
