Overview: We want to keep power on to the red and blue ccd controllers in order to maintain stable temperatures during the power shutdown. Since the risk is overcooling from the loss of heaters, we will preemptively set the heaters to -115 C to get an extra 5 C buffer in case the power shutdown is extended.
Assumption: The whole instrument is on UPS power with only the red/blue detector controllers on in order to run the heaters.

OPEN Instrument Tech > Start VNC Viewers
PULLDOWN Workspace Menu in VNC Viewer. SELECT: LRIS Engineering > LRIS Power Control.
On ‘LRIS Power Control’ GUI > Power off all components except blue saddlebag and red ccd archon
Power down CCDs
From lrismonored > modify -s lredccd ccdpower=off
From manuka > modify -s lrisblue ccdpow=0
