DEIMOS
Introduction
DEIMOS is not on sky between October 25th and January 5th. Besides, it is desirable to pump the DEIMOS detector vessel, LN2 can, and cold finger volumes for two weeks because they were pumped for only a few days last time we warm filled the instrument.
Therefore, the baseline plan is:
Stop the LN2 fills a few days before the power shutdown.
Power down the instrument completely the day before the power shutdown
Power up the instrument after the power shutdown
Connect external vacuum pumps
Pump for 2 weeks
Warm fill and checkout for operations
Procedure Before power down
Sat, Nov 2: Las LN2 fill. Update SIAS to indicate that no LN2 fills will be needed starting on Sun, Nov 3. Ensure the HV channel on both ion pumps is turned OFF by the end of the warm up to prevent the autostart function on the ion pump controllers from starting the ion pumps when the power to the ion pump controllers returns.
Tue, Nov 5: Power down instrument using the PDU interface available on any DEIMOS VNC pulldown menu: DEIMOS Engineering → DEIMOS power control GUI. The following sequence is a guideline:

Power up CCD VME crates and instrument hosts in the computer room in the following order:
