Let Randy know what specific meetings you are interested going to this FY

• e.g. SPIE meeting in Montreal in July (planned to be in-person). Might not need to use the science collaborative budget $ for this one.

• Team Keck proposals being reviewed by John and Randy. About 2x oversubscribed

• For one-on-one meetings, think about what major goals you have for the coming year.

• Split night coverage. Two SAs might be scheduled in some cases. On call pay is proposed to apply to both SAs in these cases.

Office space/remote work

Randy

Looking at cases when folks working from home to have office space be shared. Relevant questions: how many times observers in remote Ops.

SY: can downsize. Often we don’t spend much time there, even when observers in HQ, e.g. go back to our office for further support.

JW: Factor in UNO and OAs working in that room for consideration

RC: Rearrangement of layout may be helpful. There’s money to remove/replace noisy UPSs in RO1.

RM: Repurpose to office space, also?

JW: Pre-pandemic was 30% at HQ. Lately, now its ~10%

GD: 2 year rule still apply?

RC: Post-pandemic may go back to old rule. Because of PJ mode popularity, RO use will likely go down compared to before.

JW: repurpose rooms partially for morning use?

RC: Space in VSQ commons as a small remote OPs space, also? OAs work from there as Cindy did?

Agenda shaping up. Want each SA to present. Brief, 4 slides:

1. Title slide - describe instrument overview capability

2. Previous problems slide

3. Plans for the near future. Upgrades, service mission, etc

4. Risk matrix slide (as before)

Nov. 17th, Wednesday. 7 min for each presentation.
